Memorial services for Connie Casey Miletello, 69 of Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Connie was born February 9, 1943 in Texarkana, Arkansas, and passed away October 11, 2012 in Monroe. Connie graduated from Neville High School and attended NLU. Connie devoted most of her life to raising her three children. She was employed many years by the law firm of Bob McLeod and David Verlander. Connie dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel to see them or just going to football games throughout the years. She especially loved to visit Orange Beach, Alabama, which holds a special place in her heart. She attended First Baptist Church, West Monroe before becoming too ill to attend. She loved the music and fellowship provided by brothers and sisters in the faith.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Coy Casey and her nieces, Courtney and Caroline Cole.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frankie Miletello, who gave her extraordinary care throughout her illness; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Henry Cole; her three children and their spouses Leslie and Brian Bertsch, Jennifer and Keith Biedenharn, and Jim and Dena Owen; grandchildren Jonathan, Henry, Alex, Patrick, and Caroline.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Richard Fincher, Dr. John Bruchaus, Dr. Thomas Williams, Dr. Jane Mickey, Dr. Anti Maran, and Dr. Thomas Fields, and Jeff Fisher for their compassionate care during Connie's illness.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."
