Funeral Services for Gary Glen Blazier, 59, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Jamie Orten officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun.

Mr. Blazier was a graduate of West Monroe High School. Gary played in the Dixie Youth, Dixie Boys, and Dixie Majors Baseball. He was a member of the West Monroe High School baseball team, where he was one of the best pitchers to come through the program. He was very active as a coach in the ASA Girls softball league. Gary loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family, and was a very avid golfer and member of the Lake D'Arbonne Country Club. He was retired from General Motors and was a member of the UAW. Gary was a wonderful dad and a loving grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Seth and Nell Blazier.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Davidson and husband Aaron; son, Gary Don Blazier; brothers, Ronny Blazier and wife Kathy, Allen W. Blazier and wife Evelyn; grandchildren, Alyssa and Layton Davidson; nephews, Michael, Jason, Adam, Justin, and Clint Blazier; and beloved pug, Ember.

Pallbearers will be Michael Blazier, Jason Blazier, Adam Blazier, Melvin Albritton, Vic Sinmermaker, Hank Hammond, Harold Kelley, and Robert Corley.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
