James William Davis

Funeral services for James William Davis, 67, a farmer from Newellton, LA will be held 7:00 p.m., Saturday November 10, 2012, in the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Whit Bass officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until service time.

Mr. Davis was born November 25, 1944 and passed from this life on November 2, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his parents former Gov. Jimmie Davis and Alvern Adams Davis.

Survivors include his wife Dianne Keahey Davis of Newellton, LA; daughter DeCarla Sunshine Davis Netterville and husband Jeff of Natchez, MS; grandchildren Summer Katlyn Netterville and Addie Grace Netterville.

Donations may be made to Paws of Northeast Louisiana for Shelter Rescue Program PO Box 15432 Monroe, LA 71207 or Hospice TLC PO Box 1547 Winnsboro, LA 71295.
