Lanie Evelyn Eppinette Lowe

A celebration of the life of Lanie Evelyn Eppinette Lowe, 87, a homemaker of Winnsboro, LA, will be 10 am Tuesday August 6, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Jimmie Eppinette, Rev. Craig Beeman and Dr. Max Lee officiating. Interment will follow in New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm Monday August 5, 2013, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lowe was born April 26, 1926, in Winnsboro, LA, to Luther and Ida Huey Eppinette. She passed from this life on August 4, 2013, at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Lowe; two brothers Charles Eppinette and James Eppinette, and one sister Juanita Clawson.

Survivors include her four children: Ann Cretin and husband Steve of Nashville, TN; Connie Hill of New Orleans, LA; Jane Clark of Winnsboro, LA; and Wes Lowe and wife Lisa of Winnsboro, LA; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren that were the joy of her life; two brothers: Eugene Eppinette and wife Sharon, Jimmie Eppinette and wife Jerry and sister Loretta Wink and husband Julius. Mrs. Lowe enjoyed having her home as the center of all family gatherings.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to LA Hospice & Palliative Care and two special friends Martha Yeats and Windy Yeats.

In her honor, in lieu of flowers a donation to the Mission Fund at First Baptist Church Winnsboro may be made.
