William Lawrence Hill "Wild Bill"
William Lawrence Hill "Wild Bill" a local businessman and long time resident of the Monroe, LA. area. Born on April 14, 1933 in Lawrenceburg, TN and died May 13, 2012 at his home in Monroe, La. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Reverand Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Burial will follow services at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA.
He was preceded in death by sister, Pauline Hill, a son, Gordon Lane Hill, and granddaughter, Heather Raquel Holliday
He is survived by his six sons, Robert Hill and wife Charity, David Hill, William Hill, Leland Hill, Shelby Hill and wife Annie, Shelton Hill and wife Donna, two daughters, Diana Hill Simmons and husband Mike; Wanda Hill Allen and husband Billy; sister, Marie Hill Schultz and husband Glenn; 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; niece, Colleen Sharpton; nephew, Dennis Smith. Also survived by a host of family and friends.
