William Wade House

Services for Mr. William Wade House, 90 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 16, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro with Rev. Johnny Hankins and Rev. Frances Guy officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. House was married to the love of his life, Mildred Posey of sixty plus wonderful years. He was a veteran of World War II, from the 101st Parachutist Division. He was a POW in World War II. He was also in the Korean Conflict. He was captured and a POW there also. He founded the Flag Program in Winnsboro, LA. He was also an active member of the VFW Post for years, serving as Commander for several years. He was always involved in family and community service. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro. " Our Patriotic Hero "

Barbara Ruth and Ron Hendricks of Santo, TX.

Billy Wade and Becky House of Bossier City, LA.

John and Lori House of Farmerville, LA.

Craig House and Janice of Bossier City, LA.


Kimberly and Joe Lott, Melissa and Steven Taylor, Megan and Josh Hendricks, Jana and Chris Thomas, Jamie and Lance Hancock, Jackie and Paul Johnston, Jordan House, Haily Havis and Will House and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Brother: Edwin House of Lake Charles, LA.

Members of the Military will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. till time of service at First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro.
