Jimmie F. Turner Scott

Jimmie Scott passed peacefully in her sleep on July 18, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to James and Ruby Turner September 22, 1932 in Austin, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Scott, the love of her life. They were married for 58 wonderful years. She is survived by her son Andy and his wife Bernadene, son Tracy and his wife Eva. Also granddaughters Heather Miller and husband Matt, Katherine Clark and her husband Travis, and Ms Mia Scott. Also great grandsons, Mason and Logan Miller. Jimmie loved her wide group of "sista" friends who were her support group, bridge and canasta club partners, and all members of the Monroe Newcomers Club for over 40 years. She also cherished her Monroe "family" that she spent so much time with over the years. Jimmie worked for many years in Human Relations for the Sears Corporation before devoting her later years to our Dad and her volunteer work. She was a longtime volunteer at the Monroe Ronald McDonald House.
