Funeral Services for Kelly Banion Lundy, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Family Church in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Michael Stravato and Rev. Terry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Lundy was born on February 17, 1925 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on August 23, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He worked as a Water Tower Painter for Chicago Bridge and Iron Company. Mr. Lundy was a decorated WWII and Korean Conflict Veteran. He was devoted to his family and his grandchildren. He loved the United States of America and spent a lifetime supporting and serving Veterans. Mr. Lundy was a member of Family Church in West Monroe. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Banion and Eunice Huffman Lundy; and by his siblings, Herman Louis Lundy, Helen Elizabeth Lundy, Lois Evelyn Jackson and Edith Lundy Chandler.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Lundy; daughter, Susie Lundy Hendrix; grandchildren, Holly Hendrix and Nicholas Shane Hendrix; sisters, Melma Lundy Jones and Lillian Lundy Self; brother, James Franklin Lundy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Lindy Self, Brett Self, Coby Bonnett, Ray Kinkaid, Nick Hendrix and Tommy Sims.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
