Funeral service for Mrs. Virginia Mae Thurmon Kelley, age 87, of Dubach will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Gill Authur and Rev. Scott Jennings. Interment will follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Mrs. Kelley was born March 19, 1923 and passed away September 19, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Victor G. Kelley; and brother: Clayton C. Thurmon.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of Cook Baptist Church, WMU, Eastern Star and BSU.
She is survived by sons: Charles Eugene Kelley of Deville, LA, and Jimmy Clayton Kelley and wife Rose of Dubach, LA; daughter: Cherri Kelley Barmore and husband John of Choudrant, LA; grandsons: Mark Kelley and wife Wendi of Deville, LA; Chris Lynch and wife Patti of Choudrant, LA; Jimmy Lynch and wife Jessica of Ruston, LA; Nick Lynch and wife Jennifer of Monroe, LA; Andrew Breeding and wife Heather of Choudrant, LA; granddaughters: Tammy Morgan of Farmerville, LA and Jennifer Barmore of Downsville, LA; grandson: Johnny Barmore and wife Amanda of Downsville, LA; granddaughter: Victoria Scanlan and husband Dean of Eunice, LA; grandson: Jimmy C. Kelley and wife Julie of Eunice, LA; granddaughter: Sonya Taylor and husband Beau of Downsville, LA; grandsons: John R. Blake IV of Kingwood , TX and Jesse J. Fields of Houston, TX; thirty five great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Pat Thurmon of Pinebluff, AR, Barnell Kelley of Hempstead, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lynch, Jimmy Lynch, Nick Lynch, Andrew Breeding, , Mark Kelley and Jimmy Kelley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dean Scanlan, Joshua Beau Taylor and John R. Blake IV.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
