Memorial services for Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" Miller Watson will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Monroe, Louisiana under the guidance of her pastor, Brother John Mabray.
Mrs. Watson was born January 8, 1925 in Farmerville, Louisiana and passed away July 27, 2013 in Monroe. Jackie graduated from Farmerville High School and business college in Monroe, moving on to work her entire business career with Commercial solvents, and retiring under International Mineral Company (IMC). Jackie has been a faithful and active member of her endearing Covenant Presbyterian Church, serving her Lord on several committees while continuously reaching out to and helping people in need. Jackie was a member of the Rose Society as well as many other community organizations and in her free time she sewed, cooked and spend time with others.
Survivors include one brother, Hudson "Hub" Miller and wife Glenda of Monroe; one niece, Ava Stennett and husband DeWain; one nephew, Scott Miller and wife Renee'; one great niece, Lenzi Smith, and four great nephews, Baxter and Bailey Smith and Ben and Zack Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ethan T. "Speedy" Watson; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert "Hub" Miller of Farmerville, Louisiana.
Memorials may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
