Harold Collins Obituary
Funeral services for Harold "Harry" E. Collins, 66, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2014, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Ellis Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Community of Christ Church Cemetery in Eros, LA.
Mr. Collins died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center.
Survivors include his special friends, Billy Nubles and family.
Pallbearers will be Bill Wilson, Donald Pickel, Ray Gilbert, Raymond Nubles, Archie Bradshaw, and Freddie Cascio. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Dansby, George Tonore, Patrick Gerl, and the Coffee Group from McDonald's.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the funeral home.

We in Wisconsin fondly remember Harry from his collecting days in Oconomowoc, WI; his activities with and for the Numismatists of Wisconsin; his ever present optimism for filling all the missing spots in his coin albums and the loads of fun at the Wisconsin coin shows and club meetings ... especially Cooney Numismatists, Ltd. - through the 1970's and 1980's. Pal, it is with sadness that I say goodbye. I will miss your periodic phone calls and we'll all miss your surprise visits to Wisconsin. RIP, Harry.
