Josephine Nettles Obituary
Graveside services for Mrs. Josephine Martha Frangenberg Nettles, 92, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 30, 2015, in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
Mrs. Nettles was born in Pocahontas, AR, and passed away in Monroe, LA, on October 27, 2015, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home. She loved her yard and flowers, and always wanted it perfect. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Nettles will be remembered for her love of spending time with her grandchildren as well as with her friends around the neighborhood, Jean Holloway, Annie Laurie McCleish, and Evelyn Thrower.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Nettles, Sr.; and parents, Frank Peter and Cecilia Frangenberg.
Survivors include her three daughters, Josephine "Jo Ann" Toliver, Vicki Creighton and husband Mike, and Sister Julia Robertson Nettles, OSF; three sons, William T. Nettles Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Francis "Frank" Peter Nettles and wife Shelia, and Scott C. Nettles and wife Paige; two sisters, Jean Brown, and Peg Pyzik; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Friday in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Linda Badger and family, Betsy and Bob Murdock, and Laurel Rogers.
Memorials may be made to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

I am very saddened to hear of Mrs. Nettles' passing. The old Fort Miro neighborhood was lively growing up with all the families knowing each other as we did. I send prayers for comfort during this difficult time. I will always remember my memories of Mr. and Mrs Nettles fondly and the good times with Julia and Vicky in school. Blessings.
