Emma Lucibello

NORTH HAVEN - Emma Pizzarusso Lucibello, 93, of North Haven, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Whitney Manor, Hamden with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Thomas Lucibello.

Emma was born New Haven on Dec. 24, 1920, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Elizabeth Raggozino Pizzarusso; had worked in the bakery department of the former Grand Way and in the security department at Yale University. She loved her family and enjoyed her friends at Steven's Woods.

She was the mother of Thomas (Francine) Lucibello and Barry (Marguerite) Lucibello; sister of the late Fred (Josephine) Russo, Mildred Pizzarusso and Theresa Fucci; grandmother of Barry Lucibello, Jr., Nicole Lucibello, Toni (Alphonse) Michaelangelo and T.J. Lucibello; aunt of Cynthia Fucci.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Whitney Manor and Hospice of Masonicare for the great and compassionate care shown to Emma.

Her funeral procession left the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Tuesday, April 15. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Therese Church.
