Dorothy Corey Obituary
She was born Aug. 30, 1930 in North Haven, to the late Hillard and Florence (Oswald) Fenn. She was heartbroken with the loss of her beloved husband of 66 years, Leslie Norman Corey, earlier this year and she joins him now in heaven. As a child Dot was an avid horse rider and animal lover. She has been a North Haven resident for most of her life; she and Les owned and ran Rainbow Lake Trout and Corey's Tree Farm. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed greatly.
She was the loving mother of Robin Corey Keohane; her beloved son-in-law, Peter Keohane and Leslie N. Corey, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie; loving grandmother and best friend of Corey D'Angelo and her husband, Marco, Alden Corey and his wife, Sarah, and Glen Corey; beloved great-grandmother of Dante Peter D'Angelo, Stella Robin D'Angelo, Alden Corey, Jr., Ambrose, Adrian and Elysia Corey; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Charles Fenn; she also loved her four granddogs.
Funeral services were conducted in the North Haven Congregational Church, 28 Church Street, North Haven. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The Animal Haven, Inc., 89 Mill Road, North Haven, CT 06473.

Mom you and Dad would have had 70 yrs of marriage today. I miss you each and every day. My mother and best friend we did everything together. We should have written a book. Love you Aways and Forever. You are my Sunshine and I know you watch over us. You would be so proud of Corey and her beautiful children, whom talk of you often. Miss you and pray when my time is done you and Dad will be there. Hug each other for me. xoxo Thank you for being the best. I am trying to fill big shoes. Give me strength Mom wish you were here.

Thinking of you both, Robin and Skipper, reflecting on the difficult year 2014 has been for you and your families. I did not know of the loss of your parents until recently and wish to convey to you my condolences. I remember visiting with both of you and your Mom and Dad many years ago as a child when my Mom and Dad and my grandparents (Harry and Nelda) were visiting their way down the east coast on our way to Florida. Reading your most recent words certainly conveys the depth of your loss and the closeness you had to your folks. Jane
