Linda Urbano Obituary


Linda Marie Ferrigno Urbano, 62, of Branford, formerly of East Haven, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2013, at the CT Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. She was the wife of Michael A. Urbano.

Linda was born in New Haven on March 18, 1951; daughter of the late William and Angelina Amatruda Ferrigno; she had worked as a bank teller and later as a head teller at Dime's Savings Bank and later in accounting and credit managing for Hubbell, Inc.
She was the mother of Jennifer and Anthony Piccirillo; step-mother of Jennifer, Michael and Christopher Urbano, and Gina Jackson; grandmother of Vincent Castellon; sister of Robert (Laura) Ferrigno and Patricia (Richard) DePonte. She is also survived by her former husband Robert Piccirillo, a niece, nephews and great-nephews. The family wishes to extend a special "thank you" for the wonderful care provided by St. Raphael's third and fourth floor Radiology; Dr. Kormansky; the CT Hospice, Branford and also to Dr. Marianne Vahey and her staff at the West Haven Medical Group.

Services were held June 15, 2013 from the North Haven Funeral Home, followed by a mass of Christian burial at St. Mary's Church, Branford. Interment followed in All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
