WALLINGFORD - Bruce "Bill" Leuzzi, 62, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Masonicare, Wallingford with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Patricia Baraquin Leuzzi.

Bill was born in Highlands, N.Y., on Sept. 29,1951, son of the late Lawrence and Peggy Horlacher Leuzzi; obtained his bachelor of science and master of science degrees from Quinnipiac University and had worked as a cost accountant for Connecticut Light & Power for the past 11 years. Bill was a New York Yankee's fan, enjoyed writing and painting.
He was the loving father of Nina and Melissa Leuzzi; beloved brother of Lawrence Leuzzi; son-in-law of Faye Baraquin; brother-in-law of John and Ellen Gomes, Kathy and Harry Pizzorusso and Ruth Baraquin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Smilow Cancer Hospital for their compassion throughout Bill's illness.
Funeral services were conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday, April 14, with the Rev. Timothy Meehan officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
