Holewinski, Robert J. "Robbie'
Robert J. "Robbie" Holewinski, age 50, of Eagle River, WI, formerly of Sugar Camp, WI, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his home. He was born on September 13, 1962 in Rhinelander, WI, the son of Leon and Florence (Boettcher) Holewinski. Robbie was married to Heidi Wachholz on October 26, 2000 in Jamaica. He was a builder by trade and a wood carver. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing karaoke, hunting and fishing and he was an avid snowmobiler.
Robbie Holewinski is survived by his wife, Heidi, and son Cody, of Eagle River; daughter Rachael (Larry) Tarrant, of Excellsior Springs, MO; mother Floie Holewinski, of Eagle River; brothers Leon "Snuffy", Scott (Debbie), Michael (Vicki), Patrick (Chris), Gary (Anita) and John; sisters Susan Woods, Tammy (Wes) LeVan; one grandson Jacob, mother-in law Gloria Wachholz, of Oshkosh, WI; brother-in-law Mark (Donna) Wachholz, sister-in-law Cindy Wachholz and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Leon.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Eagle River, Rev. William Trosien will officiate. Visitation was from 12:30 until the time of service at the church. Burial in Eagle River Cemetery.
