Sever, Beatrice M.
Beatrice M. Sever, 94, of Oshkosh died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1918 in Oak Ridge, MN a daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Schurb) Walch.
Beatrice married Howard Sever on October 18, 1945, in Winona, MN and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2007. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing rosemaling and decorative painting and was a very good seamstress. She also enjoyed golfing, quilting, writing poetry, dancing, gardening, and watching birds.
Beatrice is survived by two daughters, Terri (Tom) Carmody of Glen Ellyn, IL and Vicki Sever of Oshkosh; a son-in-law, Harry Ring of Concord, NH; two brothers, Stanley Walch of Winona, MN and Eugene (Jane) Walch of Mt. Airy, NC; four grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Ring, David (Heather) Ring, Katie Carmody, and Jamie (Colleen) Carmody; and two great-grandchildren, Keegan and Emmalynn Ring. She was preceded in death by a daughter Lynn Ring and three sisters, Dorothy, Viola, and Evelyn.
A funeral mass for Beatrice will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to the St. Raphael Catholic Church.

So very sorry to hear of Aunt Bea's passing. Take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with your beloved father, Howard, cherished sister, Lynn, and those wonderful Walch sisters, Dora, Vi, and Evelyn. I'm so sorry I can't be there to celebrate her long and wonderful life with you, but you and Terry are forever in my prayers.
