I spend a few days with Delores when she rented me a room during the EAA convention in 1988. I just came across the letter she wrote me, explaining where her house was and how to get there. I decided to look her up and I was saddened to learn of her passing. She was a wonderful lady and a great host. May she rest in peace.

"Red" was truly an inspirational woman. I first met her when I was in high school and good friends with her daughter Patti. She had the challenge of raising four daughters while also caring for her sick husband. She never complained and always seemed very content with her life. By the way her four daughters turned out to be wonderful and caring women who any parent would be very proud of. We will keep all of her family in our thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt sympathy to Kathy, Patti, Gail, Kim and their families. I loved Delores very much. She was always so kind to me and so much fun. I am in Arizona now and would surely be at the funeral if in Wisconsin. I will be there in spirit. My love to you all.
