Wow, this is really unbelievable. I worked with Jeff in Oshkosh 15 years ago and I've been thinking about him lately, perhaps this is why. Never thought when I Googled him today that I'd find this. The thing that kept coming to my mind recently was the interaction he used to have with another Northwestern co-worker (who also passed too soon), Greg DeBroux. Greg used to talk shop about ads with Jeff and after Jeff had left and gone down the hall, Greg would call him back. When he returned, Greg would always ask: "Hey Jeffy, how far would you be if I hadn't called you back?" And Jeff always knew it was coming but he played along anyway (sometimes even saying the words along with his jolly tormentor). He was a good man and a fun person to be around. While I haven't seen him in a long time, I know the world is a little emptier without him. "How far would you be, Jeffy?" I'm betting somewhere just past the pearly gates.

Jeff had a shining personality that I think everybody that knew him saw. He will be deeply deeply missed by so many people and that is just a testament to his character. Such a fun, outgoing, enthusiastic guy. I only had the liberty of knowing Jeff for the past year and I am a better person because of it. I feel deeply for his family and everyone that knew and loved him. We love you Jeff.
