Vincent, Helen
Mrs. Helen Vincent (nee Zeleski), age 96, a resident of the Wild Rose Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Lohrville and Redgranite, passed away peacefully Friday evening, December 7, 2012 at the Wild Rose Manor.
Helen was born June 6, 1916 in Berlin, the daughter of Alex and Martha (Rhode) Zeleski. She married Frank Roman Vincent May 22, 1937 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Redgranite. Frank preceded Helen in death June 15, 1998 following 61 years of marriage.
Helen was a faithful member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Redgranite, and a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality (now the C.C.W.) of St. Mark's. Helen and her husband Frank were very active members of St. Mark's working on the parish picnics and other fundraisers at the time the new parish buildings were constructed during Father Hubert Wojak's tenure as Pastor of St. Mark's.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her son, Charles A. Vincent in 1972, her parents, and her dear friend and caregiver, Vi Rogers. Helen is survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Ramona "Mony" Monacelli of Lohrville, and other dear friends.
FUNERAL SERVICES for Helen Vincent will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, December 11th. at 11:00 A.M. St. Mark's Catholic Church in Redgranite, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated with Father Joseph Mattern and Karen Nesbit, Parish Director of St. Mark's the Presiders. (St. Mark's Catholic Church is located at 228 Church Street in Redgranite, 1 block South of Highway 21. Turn South at the Car Wash.) Following these Services Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband, Frank and son, Charles in St. Mark's Parish Cemetery, Redgranite.
VISITATION: Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Tomorrow, Tuesday morning Only, prior to the Mass at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Redgranite.
MEMORIALS will be appreciated for Wild Rose Manor or St. Mark's Catholic Church, Redgranite.
