Borgman, Ruth R. Ruth R. Borgman, 101, of Oshkosh died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Bethel Home. She was born October 20, 1914 in Oshkosh a daughter of Frank and Edna (Rouse) Strauss. She married Lyle Borgman on December 16, 1939, in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1992. Ruth was a life-long resident of Oshkosh, was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and had worked for many years at the former Wisconsin Axle Credit Union. Ruth is survived by a son, Reverend Paul (Patricia) Borgman of Oconomowoc; three grandsons, Michael (Traci) Borgman of Oconomowoc, Joel (Brenda) Borgman of Waukesha, and Stephen (Kapri) Borgman of Oconomowoc; four great-grandchildren, Macie, Emma, Bryant, and Phillip; three nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, June Abraham; a brother, Frank "Bud" Strauss; and three nephews. A funeral service for Ruth will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 11:000 a.m. at Lake View Memorial Park, Rev. Greg Koepsell officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service. Committal will follow. Memorials for Ruth would be appreciated for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Erickson, Donald E.  
Donald Edward Erickson, surrounded by his family, peacefully passed away at his home Thursday, April 28, 2016. Don was born September 15, 1929, in Melrose, WI, son of Henry Olaf and Rachel Catherine Erickson. His family moved to Madison where he spent his childhood. He graduated from Madison East High School where he was an outstanding athlete, playing on the football and basketball teams. He graduated from UW-Whitewater where he played football and captained the champion basketball team that went to nationals in 1952. For two seasons he played baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system. On November 18, 1950, Don married Mildred E. Rand. After college he served in Korea with the Army where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. In 1954 Don began teaching and coaching at Lake Geneva High School. In 1955 he moved to Beaver Dam to teach social studies and coach basketball and football. He earned a double Masters Degree from UW-Madison. Don taught physical education and later driver's education and became head basketball and golf coach at Oshkosh High School (West) in 1959 where he remained for the rest of his career. Don is a member of the UW-Whitewater and Oshkosh West Halls of Fame. He was the 1970 President of the Wisconsin Coaches Association and was honored three times as Fox River Valley Coach of the Year. Don coached the Oshkosh Giants and mentored baseball players at UW-Oshkosh. Six years after losing his wife to cancer he married Patricia Weber. His remaining years were spent enjoying golfing, family, friends, and neighbors. Don is survived by his wife Pat; his children: Donna (David) Hoffmaster, Windsor, WI and Steven Erickson, Colorado Springs, CO; Pat's children: Amy (Brian) Van Ruden, Wind Lake, WI; Scott (Candy) Weber, Oshkosh and Heidi Weber, Milwaukee, WI; 10 grandchildren: Maureen (Jon) Miner, Eric O'Neil, Jake (Haley) Erickson, Luke and Zach Erickson, Ashley, Eric, and Stephen Van Ruden, and Aaron (Shari) and Alison Weber. In addition to his wife Mildred, Don was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Thomson; and a brother, Dennis Erickson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, and St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Avenue, Oshkosh, with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Visitation will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016. Memorials may be made to the Donald Erickson Scholarship Fund. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Aurora Hospice for their compassionate and caring support.

Formiller, Patricia  
Formiller, Patricia Patricia A. "Pat" Formiller, 89, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on May 2, 2016 after a short illness. Pat was born on January 12, 1927 to the late Walter and Angeline (Meidam) Brown in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After graduation from Oshkosh High School, she married Eugene Frances Formiller, on February 10, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1994. Pat worked for many years at Buckstaff Furniture and Taco Bell in Oshkosh. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren, and attending Sunday mass. She also enjoyed listening to music and going for long afternoon rides. Earlier in life, she enjoyed making ceramics and crafts, fishing, reading, and traveling with her husband in their RV. She was a wonderful cook and made many delicious meals for her husband and eight children. Pat is survived by her loving children: Janice (Ronald) Wolf, Judith (Frederick) Phillip, Sharon (Michael) Spuhler, Frank Formiller, Diane (Richard) Hergert, and Laurie (Kevin) Goheen. Grandchildren: Richard Peterson, Stacey (Jerry) Hunter, Kelly (Steven) Seidl, Lisa (Mark) O'Brien, Larry (Roxanne) Delfosse, Chad (Melissa Clark) Kjemhus, Logan Formiller, Austin (Erica) Formiller, Crystal Brown (Step-daughter), Natalie Hergert, Nicole (Brian Pinch) Hergert, Lyndsay (Derek) Wroblewski, Ashley Goheen (fiancé Elijah Haase), and John Goheen, plus 25 great grand children, 3 step great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, and one expected great, great grandchild. She is further survived by three sisters: Mary Baerwald, Angeline Schlaeger, Rachel (Robert) Mellberg, two brothers: Robert (Carolee) Brown, Walter (Carol) Brown Jr., nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, parents, daughter and son-in-law Carol and Edward Buttera, son Thomas Formiller, sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Lee Christian, brothers-in-law Robert Baerwald, and John Schlaeger. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart on the corner of 6th & Knapp), Father Matt Simonar will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Pat's family would like to thank the staff at Waterford of Oshkosh and Heartland Hospice for the loving care to Pat and her family. A memorial is being established in Pat's name.

Krause, Gertrude "Gert" Helen Gertrude "Gert" Helen Krause, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Ripon Medical Center. Gert was born October 11, 1923, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Albert and Ida (Roehl) Prellwitz. She attended Ripon schools. On June 5, 1943, Gert married Harold Krause. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. Gert was a member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon. Survivors include her brother, Lawrence (Irene) Prellwitz of Ripon, WI and many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Mitsy. Gert was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida; husband, Harold; one sister, Leone Steinke and three brothers, Glen, Albert and Paul. Visitation for Gertrude will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016, from 9 - 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. Funeral Service for Gertrude will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016, at 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, her nephew Reverend Donald Krause will officiate. O'Connell, Rhonda D. Rhonda D. O'Connell, 51, of Omro, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home. She was born in Waupun, WI on September 2, 1964 to Robert and Susanne (Duhm) Oelke. On May 15, 2007, she married John O'Connell in Las Vegas, NV. Rhonda graduated Horace Mann High School in 1982. She attended Moraine Park Technical College, graduating in 1985. She spent most of her life in the medical field as a unit clerk and phlebotomist. She was employed 23 years at Mercy Medical Center from 1989. She was a soldier in the US Army Reserve as a transportation specialist. Rhonda met John in 1993 and had two boys, Alex (20) and Joshua (18). She was known as a loving and caring wife and mother. She loved and loved well, especially her husband, her children, her relatives and her friends. She always put others before herself and embraced a positive outlook on life. When in her presence she had the keen ability to make all feel loved and cherished. She also loved to travel, particularly visiting the waterparks in the Dells with her family. She is survived by her husband John O'Connell (Omro), sons Alex and Joshua (Omro). Parents, Robert and Susanne Oelke (North Fond du Lac), David and Robin (sister) Huck (Fond du Lac), grandmother, Sharon Duhm (North Fond du Lac). Preceded in death by her brother Rick Oelke; grandparents, Warren Duhm and Lorraine Duhm, Waldemar Oelke and Phyllis Sailor. Also, survived by many aunts, uncles and in-laws. Visitation for Rhonda will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. Parsons, Paul  
Parsons, Paul Paul David Parsons, 76, of Berlin, was involved in an automobile accident and tragically lost his life on Monday, May 2, 2016. He was pronounced deceased at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI, surrounded by a number of family members. Paul was born on October 25, 1939 in Berlin, WI to David and Caroline (Pomeroy) Parsons. Paul grew up in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School with the class of 1957. After high school, Paul worked for Rockwell International for a number of years before purchasing Barbola's Liquor Store and wholesale beer distributorship in 1970. Paul sold the business in 1987 and returned to Rockwell for approximately 10 years. He also worked as a liquor salesman for a number of years before retiring. During his retirement (as he called it) he enjoyed making his "rocking chair money" mowing the lawns at Lawsonia Country Club. Paul married Joyce Prachel on December 10, 1960 in Princeton, WI. They had an amazing 55 years together and were looking forward to many more. Paul was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Berlin, holding many different positions. He was Chairman of the school board and President of his stock club for many years. He loved watching western movies and reading western books. Paul enjoyed his garden and loved spending time playing with his grandchildren. He loved the outdoors: boating and hunting, annual fishing trips to Hayward, WI, and also fished multiple times in Alaska and in the Pacific Ocean. He played golf year round; locally here in the summers and South Texas in the winter months. Paul never stopped; He had a zest for life and was always on the go. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline (Pomeroy) and David Parsons; and a brother, Alan Parsons. Paul is survived by his spouse, Joyce Parsons of Berlin; his son, Todd (Leanne) Parsons of Moraga, CA.; two daughters, Tracie (John) Jacobs of Oconomowoc, and Tammy (Sean) Ricker of Waukesha. Paul is further survived by 7 grandchildren, Alyssa, Sarah, Hannah, Alex, Julia, Ethan and Colton. Funeral services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church of Berlin on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryan Lundquist officiating, and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Berlin. Visitation will be held at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016 and also at the church on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10-11:00 a.m. Immediately following the services at the cemetery all are invited back to the Church fellowship hall, for a luncheon and fellowship with the family. Memorials have been established in Paul's name for St. John Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran School of Berlin. Paul was a loving husband, nurturing father, caring grandfather, and amazing friend to many. Rest in Peace. Van Doren, Nathan "Red" Nathan D. "Red" Van Doren, age 87, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Northpoint Medical and Rehab. He was born on October 26, 1928 to the late Earl and Harriet (Dickenson) Van Doren. He was married to Bernice Beson-VanDoren for 24 years. Red proudly served our country in the Marines. Red is survived by his wife, Bernice, Four children: David (Marta) Van Doren, Debbie (John) Jaworski, Gregory (Lynn) Van Doren and Donna (Eric) Heinzen; one son-in-law, Mark Lienhard, two step-children: Thomas Beson and Tammie Frost and her son, Collin; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, three brothers: Thomas, Lenard and Gene "Jimmy" Van Doren; one sister, Shirley (Barney) Filtz. He was preceded in death by one daughter Kathy Lienhard, two brothers: Earl and Richard Van Doren, and five sisters: Rose Spiath, twins: Darlene and Arlin, Helen and Elen. A Celebration of Life will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave., with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Friend and family may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Military honors will be following the service.

Kohnert, Barbara A. Barbara A. Kohnert, age 77, of Winneconne passed away Monday morning, May 2, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh after a short illness. She was born November 3, 1938. Barbara enjoyed many activities including long time membership of the Optimist International Oshkosh Chapter, the American Legion Auxiliary, and volunteering at the Grand Opera House. For many years Barb has also been an election worker for the Village of Winneconne. Barbara is survived by her son Kurt and granddaughter Nicole Kohnert; her daughter Wendy Kohnert; a brother Richard (Kathleen) Frischmann; many nieces, nephews; and good friend, Gerald Weiss. Preceding Barbara in death was her husband Henry Carl Kohnert; and her parents Joseph and Dorothy Frischmann. Since 1988 Barbara has lived in Winneconne and found herself surrounded by many great neighbors and friends who always were available to lend a helping hand. She really took an interest in the feral cat population in her neighborhood and successfully live trapped and through neighborly help had them spay or neutered. Afterwards they were returned to the neighborhood and fed and cared for by her; breakfast, lunch, and supper every day, they were always there waiting for the ready hand out. Barbara was known to her friends as someone who always was in a good mood and with a smile on her face. Barbara will be celebrated at a funeral Mass on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. Fr. Doug LeCaptain and Sr. Pam Biehl will be officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial in the Winneconne Cemetery will follow Mass with a return for lunch at St. Mary's Kaudy Hall afterward. Memorials in Barbara's name may be made to the Oshkosh Humane Society. Kromm, Jacob Randall "Jake"  
Kromm, Jacob "Jake" Randall Jacob "Jake" Randall Kromm, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home whilst under the care of his beloved, Megan. Jacob was born November 1, 1983, to Randall and Elizabeth Kromm in Oshkosh. At the age of 3 the family moved to Larsen where he lived the rest of his life. In 2001 he graduated from Winneconne High School and eventually became a machinist at Proto-1, also in Winneconne. As long as can be remembered, Jacob loved going "down to the woods" directly behind the homes of his parents, grandparents (where he eventually would live) and Uncle Alan and Aunt Linda's. It is here that he hunted with his dad, uncles, cousins, friends, and beagle, Amy, who met him in heaven. Jacob is already greatly missed by his parents; sister, Amanda; girlfriend, Megan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers, as well as the furry friends that knew him as Dad and Uncle. Jacob was preceded in death by his Grandpa John and Grandma Adeline Kromm; Grandpa Gilbert and Grandma Irene Bauernfeind; Step-Grandpa Arthur Hill; and cousin, Mary Jo Davis. Final goodbyes will begin on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Winchester, 8396 Steeple Hill Dr. Larsen, with Jacob's Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. and food and fellowship directly after. Kronberg, Sherry  
Kronberg, Sherry Sherry A. Kronberg, age 73, of Omro, died Friday morning, April 29, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Dodgeville, WI on December 27, 1942, the daughter of Andrew and Kathryn DeBoer. Sherry grew up in Brandon, WI, attended Brandon Schools and was a graduate of Brandon High School. She later attended Central College in Pella, Iowa and Marian University in Fond du Lac. Sherry married Kurt Kronberg in Oshkosh on October 1, 1981. Sherry had worked as an LPN and later worked for a number of years until her retirement in the Human Resource Dept. at Square D. Sherry was an accomplished musician who loved playing the piano. She enjoyed traveling the back roads while taking day trips, watching birds, especially the Cardinals when they were singing and was an avid reader. Sherry was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church and was the Music Director at church. Sherry is loved and will be missed by her husband, Kurt; son, David Carlson and his wife, Kathy of Eagan, MN; daughter, Kris Kronberg of Appleton; brother and sister in law, Rick and Janet DeBoer of Brandon; granddaughters, Cindy, Corinna and Crystal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Karl. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the funeral home in Omro from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then again on Saturday, May, 7, 2016 at Waukau United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Sukhyun Jung officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name is being established for Waukau United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank all their friends and relatives for the cards, prayers, support and love shown Sherry and the rest of the family during this most difficult time. They would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the amazing staff's at Aurora Medical Center-Oshkosh; Eden Meadows-Oshkosh and Aurora St. Luke's- Milwaukee.
