Schneider, Dorothy Arlene (Wright)  
Schneider, Dorothy Arlene (Wright) Dorothy A. Schneider, age 102, of Oshkosh passed into Eternal Life on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Eden Meadows. She was born in Anawa, Wisconsin, on Nov. 1, 1912, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha (Calkins) Wright. Dorothy married Killian Schneider on Nov. 30, 1932. In her youth, Dorothy worked and stayed at the Villa Resort in northern Wisconsin. She then moved to Chicago to become a nanny for a family she met at the resort. During her married life Dorothy worked for Buckstaff's in Oshkosh covering caskets. During World War II she went to work at the foundry making ammunition casings for the U.S. Army. In later years she worked for Deltox Rug and became a stay at home mom. In 2005, Dorothy sold her home on National Ave. and lived with her daughter, Carol until the fall of 2012 when she moved to Eden Meadows. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter, Carol (Wayne) Marx, and her loving and dedicated granddaughter, Leigh Schneider who spent many weekly visits with her in recent years. She is also survived by son-in-law, James Spanbauer, daughter-in-law, Rosalie Schneider, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kiel in 1981, her daughter, Mary May, and her son, Killian (Bud). She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tom, George and Bud Wright; and two sisters, Mildred Spencer and Inez Thompson. Dorothy and her family are especially grateful for the kindness and care given at Eden Meadows and by those who assisted her while she lived with her daughter Carol. A special Thank You to Barb Richmond for bringing communion and visiting Dorothy every week for years. Dorothy belonged to St. Jude the Apostle Parish (Sacred Heart). The Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Sacred Heart Church, 510 Knapp St., Oshkosh, Father William Vandercreek officiating. Services will be at 11 a.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery on South Knapp St Rd. Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Homes 920-235-1170

Feryan, Dennis D.  
Dennis D. Feryan, age 80, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Milwaukee the son of the late Frank and Bernice (Kowalski) Feryan. On November 1, 1958 he married Sally Abplanalp at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha. Dennis worked at the Milwaukee Road, and then went to serve his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After his return he worked for Wauwatosa Fire Department. They then moved to Oshkosh to manage Mr. Steak Restaurant for 20 years. He then took a position with Rogge's Distributor and retired from there. Dennis loved to fish with his son, Anthony in Phillips and enjoyed playing cards. Dennis is survived by his wife, Sally of 56 years, one son, Anthony(Bonnie Wojahn), one sister, Frances Burns of Texas, one brother, James E. Feryan of Milwaukee, one brother-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Abplanalp, three sisters-in-law, Barbara Thompson, Jean and Peggy Abplanalp all of Waukesha. Dennis leaves many special friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Paul Sr. and Josephine Abplanalp, sisters-and brothers-in-law: Nancy (Richard) Kolanowski, Paul Abplanalp Jr., William Abplanalp. Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 9:30 until the time of service.

Murphy, Michael "Big Mike"  
Murphy, Michael "Big Mike" Michael "Big Mike" Murphy, age 60, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born in Ripon on October 8, 1954, a son of Arthur and Elizabeth (Rozek) Murphy. On October 4, 1975, Mike married Carol Sosinsky at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. He was self employed, owning and operating Mike Murphy Construction for over 30 years. Mike's hobbies included duck and deer hunting, shooting trap, coaching football, and being a member of "the chain gang". He loved spoiling his grandkids and visiting with friends. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol Murphy of Princeton; 2 children, Chris (Lisa) Murphy of Oshkosh, Erin (Adam) Bednarek of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Ciara Boening, Cameron Murphy, Carson Murphy of Oshkosh; 10 siblings, Kay Derrickson of Las Vegas, NV, William Hatcher of Pewaukee, Carol Murphy and husband Larry Warren of Midway, UT, John (Ellen) Murphy of Oshkosh, Mary (Brian) Edwards of Prairie du Chien, Joan (John) O'Connor of Petaluma, CA, Jean Murphy of Mill Valley, CA, Mark (Lori) Murphy of Pardeeville, Betty (Tom) Bradley of Princeton, Richard Murphy of Madison; mother-in-law, Bernadine Sosinsky of Princeton; brothers-in-law, Tom (Sue) Sosinsky, Tim (Brenda) Sosinsky, Bill (Kelly) Sosinsky, Mike Sosinsky all of Princeton; sisters-in-law, Joanne (Jon) Strassburger of Sheboygan Falls, Judy (Lonnie) Gorsuch of Princeton, Cathy (Tom) Washkovick of Appleton; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rohrabaugh, Susan  
Rohrabaugh, Susan Susan Marie (Koepke) Rohrabaugh, 67, of Oshkosh, better known as Suzie to her friends and family; went to join her mother after a courageous battle with lung cancer at home with family by her side. Suzie worked many jobs in her life to provide for her three children. She was a CNA for many years, a bartender & cleaned homes for many people. She took great pride in all her jobs. Our mother always wore a smile &lived life to the fullest all the way to the end she was a fighter. Suzie is survived by her children, Harold "Skeeter" (Andrea) Roberts, Kristofer Roberts, and Angelica "Angie" (Michael) Fay; grandchildren, Dominic, Reianne, Michael JR., Abby, Kastin, Maxx, Kora, and Isla. She is further survived by her sister, Pamela Lowther; brothers, Ira, Art, and Phillip Koepke, as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved with all her heart. Also, if you knew her, she was cat crazy and adored her cat Sassy just like one of her kids. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held for Suzie at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-(Eastside) with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Her family would like to invite family and friends for a gathering at Barley & Hops (663 N. Main St.) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The family would like to thank all of her wonderful friends who kept her smiling through her fight. Family would also like to thank everyone at the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center, especially Dr. Karen Gremminger for taking such great care of our mother through her fight. Also, thank you to Affinity Hospice for making her last few months comfortable for our mother. She was able to leave this life with dignity, respect, and on her own terms. Special thank you to Ryan and Kristy for their amazing care.

Demler, Dorothy S.  
Demler, Dorothy S. Dorothy S. Demler, age, 91, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center. Born November 11, 1923, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Albert and Sophie (Reinke) Zentner, Dorothy married Clifford "Speed" J. Demler on April 11, 1942, in Oshkosh. Dorothy was employed by W.T. Grant Co. for 15 years. She later retired from Kimberly-Clark Corp., in Neenah, after 29 years of employment. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Survivors include special people; Robert Koch, Barbara Stilp, Mary and Mike Strycker, and Joe Scherer, who were there for her and made her life a happier place to be. She is further survived by cousins and other friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers, Eldor, Edwin, and Arnold Zentner. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Lake View Memorial Park, with Pastor Andi Wolf officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial, the Clifford and Dorothy Demler Ministry Scholarship Fund, has been established.
