Vilski, Betty (Elizabeth) May Pritzl

Betty (Elizabeth) May Pritzl Vilski, 88, of Oshkosh, WI formerly of Hawkins, WI, died peacefully in her sleep at the Evergreen Nursing Home on March 10, 2013. Betty was born June 3, 1924 in Park Falls, to Wolfgang Jr. and Anne Pritzl. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank J Vilski, who she married in Gulfport, MS, on January 28, 1942. She and Frank resided throughout the United States while he served in the military.

Betty was involved in her children's lives. She liked baking and giving out her fruitcakes at Christmas. Betty was involved in the American Legion. She was a very pious woman and enjoyed being a part of the churches she belonged to, with the latest being St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Hawkins. You would never find Betty without her hankie or her rosary.

Betty is survived by her children, Beverly Belleau of Naples, FL; Virginia (Gary) Wojtowski of Oshkosh, WI; Sharon (Gary) Gring of East Berlin, PA; Gerald (Debra) Vilski of Wausau, WI; Connie (Mike) Wojtyna of Phoenix, AZ; 13 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her son, Edward (his wife, Carol); her brother, Robert, and her two sisters, Isabel Pritzl and Dorothy Borowski; a grandson, David Belleau; and a great-grandson, Hunter Vilski.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 15, 2013, at St Mary of Czestochowa Church, Hawkins, WI.

The Nash-Jackan Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
