Clarence D. "Smokey" Litton, age 68, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014. He was born in Stockport, IA on September 13, 1945, the son of the late Elry and Ava (Watson) Litton. On October 9, 1965 he married Judith Beulen. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy
as a member of the Seabees during the Vietnam era. Smokey was an Iron Worker for companies such as C.D. Smith and Azco. He liked to keep busy and enjoyed spending time in Tennessee during the winters. Smokey will be remembered for being very personable, knowing everyone, and for being a helpful person for anyone who asked.
Smokey is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Joan (Donald) Kelbach of Berlin, Clarence "Bert" Litton of Menasha and Tracy (Tom) Portz of Omro; grandchildren: Danny, Heather and Jesse Kelbach, Travis and Cory Litton, and Mason and Briana Portz; two great-grandchildren: Shayla and Kale; and siblings: Nancy (Buck) Akerson, Marvin (Char) Litton and Kevin (Dianne) Litton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Lester and Eugene Litton.
The funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service, and after the service until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Waukau Cemetery at a later date.
