Rodencal, Doris R.

Doris Rose Rodencal, (nee Bartos), 80, of Auroraville, rural Berlin, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, November 13, 2012, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Doris was born April 6, 1932, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of Adolph and Rose Anna Vavra Bartos. She attended the Clay School near Hatfield, Wisconsin. She married Robert Samuel Rodencal on August 27, 1950, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Auroraville. Bob and Doris raised their family near Auroraville. Robert preceded Doris is death in 2004 following 53 years of Marriage.

Doris was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, crocheting, sewing, traveling, visiting with friends and neighbors, her cats, and collecting rocks. Doris most especially enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Family was most important to her.

Survivors include her eight children, Randy (Alta Mae) Rodencal of Lewistown, MT; Mary (Steve) Krahn of Green Lake; Linda (Roger) Luckjohn of Ranchester, WY; Chris (Michael) Olson, Mike (Bernice) Rodencal, Sherry (Peter) Disterhaft, Giniene (Jose) Rodriguez, and Barbara Bradley (Ron Wegenke), all of Berlin; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Doris is also survived by a brother, Eugene Adolph (LaVerne) Bartos of Black River Falls; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arnold and Marilyn Rodencal of Berlin; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Duty of Orofino, Idaho; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; and her feline companions, Happy and Simba.

Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Samuel Rodencal, her parents, and two grandchildren, Bradley Drover and Jacob Disterhaft.

MEMORIAL SERVICES for Doris Rose Rodencal will be held Monday, November 19, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, N2506 State Highway 49, Auroraville (rural Berlin). The Rev. Brian M Beardsley, Pastor will officiate.

VISITATION: Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday morning Only prior to the Memorial Services.

MEMORIALS will be appreciated for Immanuel Lutheran Church or Agnesian Hospice Hope of Green Lake.
