Kloehn, Gerald C.
Gerald C. "Tiny" Kloehn, age 65, of Fremont, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Gerald was born on March 27, 1947, the son of the late Herbert and Minnie (Heling) Kloehn. He was then baptized and later confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dale. Gerald attended school in New London and later served his country in the US Army
during Vietnam. On September 27, 1969, Gerald married Linda Scharlau at St. Catherine's Lutheran Church in Elk Mound. Gerald worked for Weyauwega Milk Products, and then retired from Miller Electric after thirty-five years of employment. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winneconne, and was also a member of American Legion Post 55 in Hortonville. Gerald enjoyed hunting, going to auctions, attending various social events, and the county fair. Gerald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda; two daughters, Marsha Kloehn(Fiance' Greg Kalbus), and Julie Kloehn (Special friend, Scott Kallas) and their son, Hunter; a son Timothy(Thalia) Kloehn, and their children, Autumn and Wesley; three brothers, Irvin, Donald and Arden Kloehn; a sister, Lovana(Dan)Rice, and a brother-in-law, Stanley Buman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Kloehn and Marilyn Buman; and a son-in-law, Joel Timm. Funeral services with Military rites will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Chapel in King. Rev. Pastor John Covach and Pastor Mark Albrecht will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in the Town of Caledonia in the spring. Visitation will be held at chapel on Monday, from 12:30 PM until the time of service
