Jerome (Jerry) Schuch, age 76, passed away on December 24, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 4, 1936, to Raymond and Mildred (Hartung) Schuch in Eleva, WI. He served his country in the US Navy, on the USS Altair; and for many years, he was a member of the AMVETS. On June 27, 1959, he married Zona Helmueller of Plum City, WI. Jerome worked for Rockwell International and later retired. Jerry was an avid fisherman and hunter, he had a hunt club named for him "Jerry's Kidz". He also loved the Packers. Jerry was known as "Tex" by many of his friends, because he would not go anywhere without his cowboy hat. Jerry always had a smile or a joke for everyone. One of his favorite sayings when asked how he was doing was "Finer than frogs hair split 4 ways."
Jerry will be missed by his surviving wife of 53 years, Zona; his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sara Schuch & grandson, Hunter; his daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Brian Daigneault and two grand-dogs, Pinot and Jake; two sisters: Bernice and husband, Glen Fedie and Eileen and husband, Gary Fahnel; three brothers, Duane Schuch and Theresa, Dennis and his wife, Sharron Schuch and Doug Schuch and Sharron; sister-in-law, Sandy Schuch; brother-in-law, Matt and wife, Dianne Helmueller; sister-in-law, Zelda Ericson; along with many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Preceding Jerry in death are his parents and brother, Richard 'Dick' Schuch
and parents-in-law, Raymond and Ella Helmueller.
The family will greet family and friends on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home with a Memorial Service, at 4:00 p.m., with Fr. Mathew Simonar officiating.
