Schneider, John "Jack' T

John "Jack" T. Schneider, age 64, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Froedtert Hospital of Wauwatosa, surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 13, 1949 in Berlin the son of Max and Christina (Karamitis) Schneider.

He is a graduate of the Berlin High School with the class of 1967. After graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on a Nuclear Submarine.

When he returned to Berlin he became employed by Alliant Energy (Wisconsin Power and Light Co.) for over 30 years.

He married Kristi Lynn Carlson on May 2, 1981 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church of Berlin.

Jack enjoyed Golfing, Playing Sheep head, and spending time with his family. He is a member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kristi, his children, Julie (Greg) Doro, Matt (Gail) Hollis, Jeremy (Hillary) Hollis and Max (Jessica) Schneider, his sister, Peggy (James) Marshall and his beloved grandchildren, Preslie, Mitchel, Jared, Carson, Jenna, Leah, Arianna and Edwin, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tommy and Jimmy.

A Funeral service for Jack will be held on Saturday February 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin with the Rev. Dennis Karamitis, S.J. officiating and burial will follow with Military Honors provided by the Berlin V.F.W. Post at the Oakwood Cemetery of Berlin.

Immediately following the services at the cemetery all are invited to a luncheon and fellowship with the family at the Berlin V.F.W.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Jack on Saturday at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home prior to the service from 11a.m. to 1:00p.m.
