Mavis Douville

Douville, Mavis

Mavis was born to Jim and Louise Crandall in Cadot, Wisconsin, on March 30, 1930. She went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2013 surrounded by her children whom she dearly loved and cherished. She was preceeded in death by her husband Lawrence Douville; sister Sue; brothers Buck and Loyal. Mavis and Larry had 5 children; Dwight (Judy), Roxanne (Mark Fauver); Scott (Debbie), Joe, and Jim (Kim).

Mavis' life revolved around her family, especially her kids and grandchildren. She had a deep love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her daily routine revolved around reading her favorite devotional called "Wisdom for Today" by Pastor Chuck Smith, who went home to be with the Lord only four days after Mavis' passing. Mavis' faith in Christ was seen in her love for her family and friends and she would often be found handing out gospel literature to anyone and everyone. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, who share a common hope of being reunited someday in Heaven.

A memorial service is pending and will be announced.
