Floyd, Richard "Rick"
Richard "Rick" Alan Floyd, 49 of Borth, Wisconsin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15th, 2013 in Dothan, Alabama.
He was born in Oshkosh, WI on May 18, 1964. He graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1982. After high school he completed his 4 year Carpenter Apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Carpenter and continued climbing the ladder. He was united in marriage to the love of his life and soul mate, Carolyn, on July 9th, 1993. He was a strong yet gentle, loving and generous father. Rick was a Job Superintendent by trade through Carpenter's Local 955 and a fisherman by heart's desire. If it swam, he fished for it-no matter the weather. He was often on his boat, surrounded by water and his close friends. He was always smiling and laughing (often at his own jokes). His infectious laughter and quick-wit will be missed.
He had been employed by CR Meyer, The Boldt Company, J.P. Cullen & Sons and most recently at TCI Architects, Engineers, Contractor in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He was currently the Superintendent on a Gander Mountain project in Dothan, Alabama.

He is further survived by father-in-law Marvin Ulrich of Pickett, WI and sisters-in-law Sandy Ross (special friend Nick) of Neshkoro, WI and Jan (Al) Smith of Oshkosh, WI. He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. He spent many weekends fishing (and sometimes catching), with Brad and many other fishing buddies. He will be greatly missed by their two dogs Tucker and Bear. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother-in-law, and Uncle Dick Knoblock.

Rick, I will miss you and you will be in my heart always. I love you. Who will make the famous deep fried blue gill and the fudge at Christmas?
Dad, I will always leave the lights on for you.
