Rodensal, Spencer L.

Spencer L. Rodensal, age 83, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 18, 2013 at the Juliette Manor Nursing Home of Berlin under the care of the Agnesian Hospice Hope, and where he has been a resident since July of 2005.

He was born on May 2, 1930, in Berlin the son of Walter and Louise (Zietlow) Rodensal.

He married Joyce Formiller on July 4, 1953, at Saint Michael's Catholic Church of Berlin and they have shared 60 wonderful years together.

Spencer was the Service Manager at the West Side Garage of Berlin for 34 years.

His enjoyments in life included auto racing, Packer games, watching the three stooges and driving around with his best bud Harry Klassa and visiting with everyone while he was able to. He was especially a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He is a member of the Saint John Lutheran Church of Berlin.

Survivors include his beloved wife Joyce, his daughter, Cindy (Bill) (Muggsy) Klassa and grandchildren, Jaime Meli and Jason Krause and his brothers, Richard and Bernard and his sisters, Karene (Robert) Jezwinski and Robin (Russell) Henricksen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Walter and William and his sister Joanne Brisky, sisters in law, Lorraine, Virginia, Gertrude and Caroline Rodensal, and brother in law, William Brisky.

The family would like to extend a special thank you the entire staff of the Juliette Manor of Berlin for all of their great care and love they have provided for the last eight years and also the Agnesian Hospice Hope for their love and kindness through this difficult time.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin with the Pastor Bryan Lundquist officiating and burial will be at a later date in the Saint Michael's Cemetery of Berlin.

Immediately following the service at the Funeral Home all are invited to a fellowship and luncheon with the family which will be held at the Saint John Lutheran Church fellowship hall.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Spencer at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin on Monday September 23, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the Funeral Home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service or from 10 to 11 a.m.
