Dear Schaefer Family,
We are sending sincere condolences during this difficult time from Arkansas. Bud was a wonderful father-in-law to me and grandpa to Nicholas! I loved cutting up with him! We wish we could be there to pay our respects and say goodbye in person, but so much is going on here right now. We will always remember our fun times and visits with Bud and Germaine! They were such gracious hosts every time we came to visit! Bud will be sorely missed!
With much love and respect,
Caroline Pruitt Schaefer

Bud was a true gentleman, kind, and a friend. It was a pleasure to work with him over the years as well as just sitting back at our desks and chatting.
Rest in peace my friend.

We'll forever love and miss you Gramps. I can't thank you enough for the roll you played in my life. You have taught me about love and compassion, how to start a lawn mower and leaf blower, how to keep your (now my) yard looking like a park, how to treat a lady, and how to fight and a hang on! These are just a few examples... I keep hearing from others who knew you, they speak so highly of you too gramps, they adored you, they said you were humble, your sense of humor was great, and your love for gram was straight from a storybook. Thank you for all you have done for us girls, we love you! We'll miss you. Can't wait to see you again.
