She was born April 27, 1921, to the late Rodney S. Murty and Blanche Irene Etheridge in the town of Rose, Waushara County, Wisconsin. Her father delivered her because her doctor became stuck on a muddy road and couldn't make it in time. She went to school in Wild Rose and graduated from high school in 1938. She was an accomplished clarinetist also active in choral music, drama, and forensics. She went to college in Stevens Point for two years. Then she worked in Milwaukee, until she married Melvin Lewis Anderson on August 20, 1944, in Wild Rose. She moved to Orlando, Florida, where Melvin was stationed during World War II. They had two children, Pamela and Michael. While in Wild Rose, she taught Sunday school, was a Blue Bird leader, active in the Methodist church, PTA, and Women's Club. The marriage to Melvin ended in divorce in 1955 and Beverly began her teaching career at White River, a one room school outside of Wautoma. In the fall of 1956, she took a job teaching on the Indian Reservation in Lac du Flambeau. The next two years she taught in Phelps, Wisconsin. In the fall of 1959, she took a teaching job at Lincoln school in Stevens Point. She moved to Washington School next. She continued her education and received a Master's degree in Library Science. She worked in school libraries at Emerson, Jackson and Roosevelt. She retired in 1986. In 1975, she married Leslie Christian Ansorge in Gillett, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the League of Women Voters, the Republican Party and the Wild Rose Historical Society. Following a hip fracture she moved to assisted living at Oakridge in Stevens Point. She was always interested in reading and continued to read even though she had memory loss. She wanted to watch FOX News even in the hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Anderson of Madison, WI; her son, Michael (Sue) Anderson of Prior Lake, Mn; two grandsons, Jeff, and Nathan (Marea); and 4 great-grandchildren, Bayan, Aidan, Michael and Olivia.

Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until time of service at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Wild Rose, WI at a later date.
