Fred A. Foelske, age 84, of Princeton passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon. He was born on March 3, 1928 in the town of Marquette, a son of Fred and Martha (Zick) Foelske. He married Virginia Sebert on June 2, 1957 in Princeton. Together they worked side by side on their farm raising livestock, farming, and bought and sold cattle in rural Princeton. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, gambling and playing cards.
Mr. Foelske is survived by nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Martha Foelske; wife, Virginia Foelske; brothers, Robert, Elgard, Richard Foelske; sister, Helena Gorr.
A memorial service for Fred A. Foelske will take place on Friday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church, 202 S. Farmer St., in Princeton with Rev. Robert Busse officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Princeton City Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Calvary Lutheran Church and St. John's Catholic School, 125 S. Fourth St., in Princeton.
