Trampf, Gordon M.

Gordon Mickel Trampf, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Fountainview Care Center in Ripon, surrounded by his loving family.

Gordon was born August 19, 1932, at home in Ripon, the son of Walter and Mabel (Garczynski) Trampf. He graduated from Ripon High School. In 1964, Gordon was united in marriage to Marie Treanore in Ripon at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. He was a jeweler who owned and operated Gordon's Repair Service, until his retirement. Gordon was a former member of Ripon Fire and Police Commission; a Ripon Auxillary Police; he was a member and also a former usher at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church; Riponfest Board of Directors; Ingall's Field Volunteer Committee; and Ripon High School Sports Donator.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Marie Trampf, Ripon, WI; son, Daniel (Jody) Trampf, Sun Prairie, WI; daughter, Debra (Mark) Smith, Green Lake, WI; grandchildren, Natalie Trampf, Sun Prairie, WI, Andrew Trampf, Sun Prairie, WI, Joseph Smith, Green Lake, WI, and Samuel Smith, Green Lake, WI; sister-in-law, Muriel Trampf, Fond du Lac, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents in 1980; daughter, Annette Trampf in 1968; a brother, James Trampf in 1994; and a sister, Anita Schulz in 2012.

Visitation for Gordon Trampf will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 10:00-10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Mass for Gordon Trampf will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Private family inurnment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
