John Miller Obituary
Miller, John Paul

5/24/28 - 2/16/13

Beloved husband of Mary Ann (Piotrowski) Miller and loving father of Karen and Michael Miller (Donita Jones) has now been reunited with our mother, the love of his life, in Heaven. Born May 24, 1928, to the late Laurin H. and Amy F. (Stille) Miller, dad also joins his sisters, Joan Zwirchitz, and her husband, LaVern, Susan Bartels and her husband, Raymond; and brother, Laurin H. Miller, Jr.

Dad graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1947, and spent the majority of his working career at Automotive Supply Co. in Oshkosh for 42 years in sales/parts dept. and two years at Pommerening Automotive. He also spent 3 years in the Naval Reserve from 1956 to 1959 as an END3 working on submarine engines.

Dad loved spending time at our cottage at Pike Lake, Wisconsin, with family and friends, boating, skiing, swimming, fishing and snowmobiling. Some of his best times were also spent playing dart ball on the men's and couples dart ball league at St Vincent and Sacred Heart Churches in Oshkosh.

Left to celebrate his life are his children, Karen and Michael; grandchildren, Laura A. and Joshua M. Miller; and one great-grandchild, Hunter; three sisters-in-law, Victoria Slife and Margaret Goltz, Mary Jean Miller; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Special thanks go out to Dr. Matthew Kraemer, Mercy Medical Center, Bella Vista, Bella Vista Manor, Lake Shore Manor and Generations Hospice Care and all the staff who helped us with daddy's care. God Bless you all!!
