Haedt, Kenneth W.

Kenneth W. Haedt, age 69, of Omro, died unexpectedly Friday, January 31, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center. Ken was born December 2, 1944, in Oshkosh, the son of Stephen and Verona (Naramore) Haedt. He married Ruth Jensen, the love of his life, on September 16, 1967. They have been together 46 years, and they still liked each other! Ken enjoyed visiting up north, hunting, TV game shows and most of all, family gatherings. He was also known as an ace potato pancake maker.

Ken is loved and will be missed by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Marcia (John Peresta) Haedt; sisters, Donna (Lee) Karlquist, Ellen Sheets, Karen Haedt; brother, Russell (Carolyn) Haedt; Goddaughter, Becky Hobbs; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Brian.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then again on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at the Waukau United Methodist Church, Highway 116, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kristen Lowe officiating. Memorials in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
