Kujawa, Martin

Martin Kujawa, age 77, of Berlin, died peacefully on Friday February 14, 2014, at the Berlin Memorial Hospital.

He was born on January 12, 1937, in Oshkosh, the son of Anthony and Thelma (Kohnke) Kujawa.

He married Peggy Williams on September 9, 2000, in Berlin.

He is a member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin and a former member of Saint Raphael's Catholic Parish of Oshkosh.

He was employed as a laborer at the Oshkosh Foundry, Lennox Candle Co., Cab Driver for Oshkosh Cab Co., and Fields Restaurant of Oshkosh.

Martin especially loved to fish, camp, and sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows' and he had a special place in his heart for his dog, Kissy.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy of 13 years of Berlin; daughters, Linda Mellen of Cohasset, Minnesota; Grace Zink of Oshkosh; Dorothy (Curt) Toni of Oshkosh; one son, Lester Kujawa of Oshkosh; one brother, Arnold Kujawa of Oshkosh; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald and his first wife, Eleanor.

Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be at a later date in Oshkosh.
