Willard H. Frank, age 85 of Oshkosh passed away on Friday May 16, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Bill was born on Sept 19, 1928 in Oshkosh to Henry and Mary Schnieder Frank. He served in the U.S. Air force.
He was married to Jackie Jungwirth and together they had one son, Brian. Willard was a dedicated employee of Morgan Doors for 42 years. He was one of the original founding members of Club 13.
Willard loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing especially at Kalbus' Point and trips to North Dakota with his son and nephews Paul and Patrick LaFontaine. He looked forward to and cherished his yearly trips to Canada for fly in fishing on Monroe Lake, Ontario. He loved to take rides with Jackie to Rush Lake and always stop for ice cream . He was always happy to spend time with his family and was so proud to be a grandpa to Nathaniel and a great grandpa to Alaric and Adalia. He was blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends.
Willard is survived by his wife Jackie, his son Brian (Amy), Grandson Nathaniel (Amanda) great grandchildren Alaric and Adalia. One brother Cliff (Anna). Willard is also survived by sisters in law Amber LaFontaine, Jane Eisch, Marlene Friesch (Tom) Judy Dadas and many nieces and nephews. Willard is preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold, sisters Florence, Mary Jane and JoAnne. Brothers in law Jack LaFontaine, Adrian Dadas, Eugene Jungwirth. Sisters in law, Connie Brown, Patricia Jungwirth and niece Mary Harmon.
Funeral services for Willard will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:30 am in the Poklasny Funeral Home, the Rev Wm Van de Kreeke officiating. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Affinity Hospice in Willards memory.
