Dan Phillips, 69, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Marquette General Hospital with family members by his side.
He was born September 12, 1944, in Oshkosh, WI, to Anthony and Marie (Raddatz) Phillips.
In 1962, he was a member of the first graduating class at Lourdes High School. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, he entered the United States Air Force in 1969 and retired in 1989 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He and his wife, Judy, moved into their home on Lake Michigan's Little Bay de Noc in January 1991. He enjoyed many outdoor activities as well as traveling and volunteering at Seney NWR.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; their son, Commander Mark Phillips USN (Jennie) and two grandchildren, Maggie and David, residing in Papillion, NE; brother, Jed (Carol) in Franklin, WI.
Following his wishes, no services were held.
Memorials in Dan's name can be given to the Delta County Cancer Alliance.
