Greer, David Allen

David Allen Greer, age 68, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, August 8, 2014, at his home.

He was born on April 23, 1946, in Wautoma, the son of Edward and Margaret (Pslugrdt) Greer.

He was employed by Safeguard America, Lion Turning and Pressing Gloves.

David's enjoyments in life included hunting, fishing, four wheeling, camping, gardening and the Monday Funday at Country Inn.

David is survived by his beloved fiancée, Judy Keller, one son, Lorne (Jeannie) Greer of Oshkosh; and his brother, James (Beetle) (Peggy) Greer of Princeton; three grandchildren, Krysten, Hailey and Logan; also survived by his special extended family, Kim Brock (Clare Perr) and Katrina and Clarissa Perr also Missy, Tim and Ali Bending, Brian (Tracy) Brock and Lucas (Booger) Brock, further survived by his in-laws, nieces and nephews other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Dawn, two brothers, Edward (Bill) and Thomas Greer and one sister, Meri Yohn.

Per David's request cremation has taken place and he wished there would be no formal funeral service for him, but there will be a celebration of his life on Sunday August 24, 2014, at the North Shelter House at the Riverside Park of Berlin from 2 to 6 p.m. and all are invited to attend and share their memories.

The family would like to extend at this time a very special thank you to Doctor Geller and his staff, the Agnesian Hospice Hope, Sister Michaeleen, and daughter, Kim Brock for helping Judy out in her time of need in caring for David, also to the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin and their staff for all of their help during this most difficult time, may God Bless all of You with his kindness.
