Radig, Dorothy

Dorothy Radig, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday evening August 23, 2014 in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on June 19, 1923, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Albert and Helena (Pollack) Matulle. She married Harold William Radig on July 18, 1942, in Oshkosh. Dorothy was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church) since 1949. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary at the church. She and her late husband Harold also visited Medjugorje. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also was employed at Miles Kimball as a seasonal worker during the Christmas holidays. She also loved watching Packer games.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Douglas Radig and Dennis (Janet) Radig, both of Oshkosh; three daughters, Susan Moll, Cynthia (Kurt) Sorenson and Mary Beth (Timothy A.) Wolf, all of Oshkosh; three sisters-in-law, Doris Matulle, Laverne Reimer and Jean Lawler; eight grandchildren, Jeff (Jessie) Radig, Julie Radig, Justin Radig, Chelsie (Mike) Makus, Chrissy Koch, Kent Sorenson, Ryan Wolf and Steven Wolf; seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends at Simeanna. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold on February 15, 2008, three brothers, seven sisters and four siblings in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church on the corner of 6th & Knapp) Father Matt Simonar will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Committal services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Dorothy's name.
