Terry K. Thompson, age 80, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on June 5, 1931 in Madison to the late Kenneth Thompson and Gwen Figor. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Deland on June 27, 1953. Terry graduated from Appleton West High School in 1949 and the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1955 with a business degree. Terry worked at Perfex Corporation in Milwaukee and the Berlin Foundry as HR Director, retiring in 1994.

Terry is survived by his wife, Betty Thompson; four of his six children, Rae Schuster (Bill Ryan) of Delafield, Jackie (Tim) Lundquist of Oshkosh, Beth (Jeff) Wesner of Ripon, Kyle Thompson (Angie Wood) of Oshkosh; nine grandchildren, Jason (Nicole) Clark, Justin (Kari) Clark, Jeremy (Angie) Clark, Kelsi Schuster (Brian Jodarski), Kain Schuster (Jessica Bongiovanni), Cory (Corinna) Lundquist, Cody Lundquist (Lesley Sorensen), Amy Wesner (Dave Bradley), Ali Wesner; ten great grand children; and many other friends and relatives. Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Thompson and his son, Rex Thompson.
Terry's family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center for their compassionate care of Terry.
Family will greet friends and relatives on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with memorial services following at 2:30 p.m., all at St. Raphael's Catholic Church (830 South Westhaven Drive). Private family burial services will be held at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery of Berlin.
