Kwidzinski, John Joseph
John Joseph Kwidzinski, age 92, of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday evening December 27, 2012 at the American House of Berlin.
He was born on September 18, 1920 in Berlin the son of John and Augusta (Krueger) Kwidzinski.
He was a graduate of the Berlin High School with the class of 1938. He never married.
John was born and raised on the family farm in Berlin. He later moved to town and worked for the Mark's Construction Company of Berlin, later the Stokley Canning Company and then moved to Denver, Colorado where he worked at the United States Mint and later for the Federal Reserve Bank, then retired. After his retirement he then moved to New Mexico and came back to Berlin in 2005. He was a resident of the American House of Berlin.
He is a member of the All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin, formerly Saint Michael's.
Survivors include his nephew, Harry (Becky) Kwidzinski of Berlin and also several other nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Albert Kwidzinski on December 9, 2005 and his sister, Genevieve Wykowski on November 4, 2012.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin with the Rev. Jerome Maksvytis officiating and burial will follow in the Saint Michael's Catholic Cemetery of Berlin.
Relatives and friends may visit and pay their respects on Thursday only from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Funeral Home.
