Banville, Patrick D.
Patrick D. Banville, age 76, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Patrick was born January 26, 1937, in Pickett, WI, the son of Martin "Roy" and Lottie (Stueber) Banville. He grew up in Pickett attending Elo and Ripon Schools. Patrick worked on the family farm and for various farmers in the Pickett area. He drove truck for Bradley Trucking and Pickett Canning Company and after retirement he moved to Ripon. Patrick enjoyed snowmobiling in upper Michigan, watching NASCAR races on T.V. and various other sports and talking about the good old days. He also enjoyed his trips to Texas and to Disney World in Florida.
Patrick is survived by a niece, Leda Kettner of Pickett; nephew, James Schumacher of North Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Sylvia Banville of Pickett; brother-in-law, Gerald Schumacher of Rosendale; great nephews, nieces and great-great-nephews and nieces. He is further survived by many cousins and friends and a special friend, "Corky" Thiel. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James and Merrill Banville; sisters, Margaret Banville and Bernice Schumacher and nephew, Roy Banville.
Visitation for Patrick will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 1 - 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Patrick will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Judith Lipp will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica in the spring. Memorials may be directed to Elo Evangelical Church, 1134 Williams Rd., Pickett, WI 54964.
