Kenneth Joseph Nikolas, 67, of Saint Germain and formerly of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at his home from bone cancer with his family at his side. Kenny served 35 years for the City of Oshkosh as a civil engineer. After retirement, he relocated to his home in Saint Germain to enjoy the peace and serenity of the north woods and fishing.
Kenneth was born on June 25, 1945, in Aberdeen, S.D., to the late Joseph and Marie Nikolas. Kenny is currently survived by his two sons, Stuart (Tammy) Nikolas, and Phillip (Bobbi) Nikolas; and his daughter, Rikki Lynn (Erin) Fabry; brothers, Steve (Debra) Nikolas, and Rick Nikolas; and sisters, Marcia Baeten, and Susan Nikolas; six grandchildren, Britiny Fabry, Nathaniel Fabry, Jorden (Ryan) Jakubek, Luke Fabry, Dillon Nikolas, and Blake Nikolas; his wife, Tonia; many nieces and nephews; and long time friend, Scotty. Kenny was preceded in death by; his parents, and his brother Joe.
Kenny loved fishing with his children, dancing and singing to his oldies music, and cheering on his Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Vikings. Anyone that knew Kenny knows what "Noah's Day" is, and his picture taking was never a dull moment. His laugh would always be heard, but will never be forgotten.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Marshfield Clinic and Howard Young Dialysis.
If desired, memorial services can be donated in the name of Kenneth Nikolas to Hospice of Wisconsin. Only a private service was conducted.
