Golla, Lorraine

Lorraine Mary Frank Golla (nee Lemberger), 88, Winneconne, formerly of Oshkosh, was called to be an angel for our Lord on February 10, 2014, following a brief illness. Lorraine was born in Oshkosh, WI, on April 25, 1925, to the late Nathan Peterman and Theresa Lemberger.

Lorraine was employed as a nurse's aide at Park View Health center for over twenty years. After her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, planting flowers and spending time with her family and friends. Lorraine especially enjoyed Christmas and looked forward to it year round. She was a kind hearted and nurturing person who was very proud of her family and will always be remembered as a woman that had a smile that could light up a room. Words cannot express what an amazing woman she was and the love that she leaves behind in the hearts of all that were fortunate to have her in their lives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by; one son, David (Marilyn) Frank, three daughters; Carol (Don) Marshall, Debra Frank, and Susan Frank, eight grandchildren; Amanda (Jeff) Zeman, Kristen (Travis) Whitney, Jeremy Frank, Amy (Nick) Cochart, Jon (Mimmie) Yost, Kimberly (Mike) Raether, Ben Wenzel, and Courtney Wenzel, step children; Patrick Golla, Robin Golla, and Scott Golla, and thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind, one brother; Howard (Linda) Drumm and many special friends, Charlotte Hyler, Jean Schmidt, Jean Sadosky, and Diane Krall.

In addition to her first husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Sippl and Charmaine Vande Berg; two brother in-laws; Ed Sippl and Ted Vande Berg and a grandson, Jason Yost.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 14, 2014, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 228 Church Avenue, Redgranite, WI at 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Mass at 1:00 p.m. with Father Joe Mattern officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Curtis Baltz and the fifth floor staff at Theda Clark Medical Center, and Tom Yost.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's name to Casa Esther in Omro.

The world will never be the same without her in it.
