Adrian J Jungwirth, age 84, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on September 3, 2015 at his home. He was born in Oshkosh, on November 21, 1930 the son of the late Jacob and Catherine Stiller Jungwirth. He was employed at Globe Printing Company in Oshkosh for forty five years. Ade married Donna Novotny on August 30, 1952.

Ades interest in tennis started at age ten. At age eighteen he was entered in the Junior Boys tennis tournament sponsored by The Milwaukee Journal. He was the city Tennis Champion for three years in a row and twice won the city Doubles Championship with his brother Lawrence. He was also active in city basketball leagues and was co-captain of the National Guard Team. Adrian was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Parish in Oshkosh. His favorite activity was spending time at the family cabin/land in Crivitz. He spent many hours of work and enjoyment there.

Survivors include his wife: Donna Jungwirth, three sons; Mark "Rock" (Kim Blake) Jungwirth, Daniel Jungwirth, Anthony Jungwirth, all of Oshkosh, grandchildren; Joan, Jim Jungwirth, Lisa Winter, Mike Price, great-grandchildren, Marnie, Olivia, and Bennett. Ade is also survived by one brother; Lawrence Jungwirth, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by one grandson; Zachary J Jungwirth, one brother; James Jungwirth, and a sister who passed away shortly after birth.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday September 10, at 11:00 AM in St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart worship site) with the Rev Matt Simonar officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
