Arnold M. Cook

COOK, ARNOLD M.; age 73; of Harrison; passed away January 1, 2011; at Abbey Hospice of Social Circle, Georgia. Arnold was born May 10, 1937 in Harrison, Michigan, the son of Arnold L. and Grace (Gamble) Cook. Mr. Cook served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Cook had resided in Harrison since 2002, coming from Florida. Arnold enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling around the United States. Surviving is his companion of many years, Jean E. Cook of Harrison; four daughters, Michelle, Theresa, Dawn and husband Dennis and Janet; three sons, James and wife Bonita, Rickie and wife Angela and John; two sisters, Dorothy and husband Dennis and Karen; four brothers, Ralph and wife Jeanette, Bruce, Marvin and wife Cindy and Cecil. 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Pamela, one sister, Betty, one brother, Don and one granddaughter, Mary Beth. Funeral Services for Mr. Cook will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Dennis Feuerstein officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison.
